What is a Rhodonite stone?

Rhodonite is a fine stone (formerly called "stone half-precious"). In ancient Rome and Greece, rhodonite was worn as protective amulets against attacks by thieves... It would be a balancing, protective and restorative stone. Balancing, it would calm the stress, in particular in period of examination, and the overflow of emotions.
