Bracelet pierre serti
To make a crimped stone bracelet, you will need:
- A set stone
- 2 oval open rings 3 * 4.6mm in gold filled
- 2 nodes caches
- 0.5mm polyester thread
- 4mm ribbed balls
- A carabiner clasp
- An extension chain in gold filled
- Round pliers
- A needle-nose pliers
- Precision scissors
- A lighter
Cut your thread into 2 separate pieces,
Take a thread and pass it through the ring of your stone, then slide the ring to the middle of the thread.
Grab both ends of the thread, and thread a ridged 4mm gold filled ball. You can fix the ball by knotting if you want it to stay still, and also add other beads as you wish.
Hold the knot cover by its ring, then thread the thread through the small hole at the bottom.
About 5cm from the stone ring, tie a knot and burn the tip with a lighter to prevent the knot from coming off. Using a needle-nose pliers, close the node cover, making sure the node is inside.
Open the oval ring on both sides.
Be careful not to open the ring by pulling, otherwise the ring may warp.
Slide the node cover and extension chain. Close the ring gently.
Do the same thing with the second ring of the stone, adding the clasp instead of the extension chain, and voila. Your DIY bracelet is finished!
