The name Tanzanite was given to this gemstone after the place where it was discovered: in Tanzania. Tanzanite is pleochroic, which means that all tanzanite crystals exhibit three colors: blue, red-violet, and brownish yellow-green (bronze), the intensity of each of these colors depends on the viewing angle.
As the pearls are baroque, the size may vary by +/- 2mm. The number of pearls may differ from one batch to another.
