What is an Amazonite stone?

Amazonite is a semiprecious stone, formerly also known as a "semiprecious stone". It is a variety of microcline feldspar. It has a hardness ranging from 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale. Its name is derived from the Amazon River, where it is said to have been discovered. This semiprecious stone comes in green, blue-green, translucent to opaque colors, has a shimmering appearance, and is sensitive to pressure. The largest mines are found in Brazil, Russia, and the United States (Colorado). If you want to learn more about the history and virtues of the natural Amazonite stone, you can find this information in our Blog.
