What is Hackmanite Stone?
Hackmanite is a fine stone belonging to the Sodalite family. It is distinguished by its unique ability to change color under UV light, a phenomenon called photochromism. With a hardness of 5.5 to 6 on the Mohs scale, Hackmanite is generally white, pink, or lilac, and turns violet or blue under UV light. This rare stone is mainly extracted in Afghanistan, Canada, and Myanmar.
