What is a Lepidolite stone?

Lepidolite is a fine stone (formerly called half-preciousstone). Along with sugilite and charoite, it is classified as a fine purple stone, with a unique appearance that makes it relatively easy to identify. It is a stone with a scaly structure, due to its lithium fragments. The main deposits of this rock are found in Brazil, Peru, Russia, Afghanistan and Madagascar.
