What is a Smoky Quartz stone ?

Smoky quartz is a fine stone (formerly called "stone half-precious"), it is sometimes called smoky quartz or morion, and is a variety of brown quartz more or less dark. Its translucency and its color similar to mist is very appreciated in jewelry. In lithotherapy, it is reputed to relieve sorrows and help to keep calm. It has a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale.
