What is a Bronzite Stone?
Bronzite is a gemstone (formerly known as a semi-precious stone), resulting from the meteorological and geological conditions that act on the iron and silica that make up the stone. Bronzite is an intermediate variety of enstatite and hypersthene as they have the same chemical composition. The difference lies in their crystalline system. Bronzite is formed of short and irregular crystals, with a vitreous and pearly luster. It has a hardness of 5 to 6 on the Mohs scale.
