What is a Bronzite stone?

Bronzite is a fine stone (formerly called half-precious stone), resulting from meteorological and geological conditions that act on the iron and silica that compose the stone. Bronzite is an intermediate variety of enstatite and hypersthene because they have the same chemical composition. The difference is in their crystal system. Bronzite is formed of short, irregular crystals, with a vitreous, pearly luster. It has a hardness of 5 and 6 on the Mohs scale.
