The 14K gold filled rose bead is a bead covered with a thin layer of 14K rose gold, which is used to bind jewelry. It consists of applying a small percentage of gold (5%) on a brass base. Its 5% of 14ct gold will give findings a better look than gold plating, and will be more cost effective than a more gold loaded alloy (like 18ct).
The pink color of the gold filled depends on the copper content of the 14ct gold. The higher the copper content, the more coppery pink the color.
