A guide to the colors of natural and semi-precious stones for jewelry making

The world of stones is a vibrant kaleidoscope, rich in nuance and texture. Each stone, unique and precious, tells a captivating story through its colors, brilliance and origins. Behind every shade of color lie geological secrets, deep cultural links and symbolism that transcend ages and civilizations.

In this article, we invite you to embark on a colorful journey to the heart of gems. From verdant emerald to scarlet ruby, from purple amethyst to iridescent opal, we explore a palette of precious and precious stones half-classified by color. For each stone, we reveal where it was mined, its hardness on the Mohs scale, its appearance - whether translucent, transparent or opaque - and the family to which it belongs.

N.B. It's important to note that gem associations with the chakras may vary according to stone color, tradition and practitioner.
